Tip: For modeling higher decorations, it is recommended to let the icing dry slightly or add a little sugar/starch.

Allow the icing to reach room temperature.
Cut the desired amount and work it until pliable.
If too stiff, heat in a microwave for 5–10 seconds.
Roll out on a sheet to about 4 mm and slightly larger than the diameter of the cake + height.
Transfer to the cake (by hand, rolling pin, or using a silicone mat).
Smooth with a cake smoother, trim excess.
After opening, store in a plastic bag and a closed container to prevent the icing from drying out and hardening.
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
