"Wing" Petal: approx. 32 mm
Triple Petal: approx. 48 mm
Ideal for cutting shapes from fondant, modeling clay, marzipan, gum paste, or chocolate modeling dough.
Great for creating edible flowers on cakes, cupcakes, wedding cakes, or special desserts.
Suitable for decorating desserts with an emphasis on detail and elegance.
Can also be used with modeling clays such as FIMO, polymer clays, ceramic clay, or salt dough.
Perfect tool for making floral decorations, jewelry, accessories, or other creative projects.
High-quality stainless steel that ensures durability, long life, and easy maintenance. Sharp edges precisely cut details and allow for easy release of the shape.
Store in a dry place. After use, we recommend washing with lukewarm water and thoroughly drying to prevent corrosion.
If the cutters are used for non-food purposes (e.g., working with clay or FIMO), they should not be used for food afterward. We recommend having a set designated exclusively for food purposes and another for creative purposes.
Cutting Shapes:
Use individual cutters for the respective parts of the flower: wings, throat, and triple petal.
Gently press the shape and carefully detach from the surface.
Modeling and Shaping:
Use modeling tools (round or tear-shaped) to thin and shape the edges of the petals. Working on foam pad helps create natural curling of the edges.
You can shape the petals into a curved shape using shaping dishes or a spoon.
In each petal, insert a venPurchase thin florist wire (food grade) for later flower assembly.
Drying:
Let individual parts dry for at least 12 hours (preferably overnight) in shaping bowls, on aluminum foil, or in floral forms to maintain their shape.
Flower Assembly:
Once the petals are dry, join them together using florist tape or a bit of edible glue.
You can enhance the flower with stamens or sticks (purchased or handmade).
Coloring:
To highlight details, use food-grade dust colors applied with a dry brush.
You can combine different shades to achieve a natural look of petals.
Dust colors can also be lightly moistened with alcohol to create a subtle "watercolor" effect.
Usage on a cake:
Insert the finished orchid into the cake with a flower pick or by inserting wires into a straw.
Orchids are suitable for decorating wedding and festive cakes, cupcakes, or luxury desserts.
Tips and Recommendations:
For added realism, you can lightly press texture into the petals using a silicone veining mold.
Work with clean tools in a dry environment – the material will hold its shape better.
If the flower is not intended for consumption (for example, due to the use of florist wire), always inform the customer.
