How much is needed to cover a cake? For a round cake with a diameter 24/26 cm you will need approximately 500g of fondant. Fondant is also very suitable for decorations. 

For decorations: Add to 250g of fondant one full teaspoon of Tylose (item 1098) and a little water. Before using knead well and roll out on icing sugar into a thin sheet and continue modeling flowers or figurines.
